Useful troubleshooting steps for resolution of Outlook issues.

Outlook does not open, settings or add-ins causing conflicts, display issues.

Starting Outlook in "safe mode".
1. Close Outlook.
2. Open "Run" from the Start Menu"
3. Execute "Outlook.exe /safe"
-Outlook should now open in Safe Mode.

Outlook elements out of screen, displaying improperly, missing, etc...

1. Close Outlook.
2. Open "Run" from the Start Menu"
3. Execute "Outlook.exe /resetnavpane"

User reports e-mail synchronization issue within Outlook

Disable Cache Mode in Outlook.
1. Click on “File”, selecting “Account Settings” and then “Account Settings” again.
2. Double-click on your e-mail address in the new window.
3. Uncheck “Cache Mode” and click Apply / OK
-You will be prompted to restart Outlook
